  • The first CWMF orphanage home opened doors on January 10, 2005 in Wangige, Kenya on a 3½ -acre property with a four bedroom house donated by the Mungai family.

  • Permanent water supply was a prerequisite for a clean healthy environment as well as for the construction works. Accordingly, a 200-meter bore hole was developed with funding from friends in order to meet the aforementioned needs. This project also benefits the local community in the vicinity.

  • The donated land has been developed into a model K-12 school with residential facilities for orphan children. One kindergarten classes is held in the garage of the original house. The original house also serves as the girls' dormitory.

  • CWMF completed construction of a two-classroom kindergarten and office

  • A third building is currently being constructed, and acts as a two-classroom facility and a dormitory for the boys.

  • CWMF aims to establish other C.W.M. Homes across the nation and in other countries as resources become available. The current home supports over 40 children from five of the seven provinces of Kenya and one from Tanzania.
